why is it that although one may give up everything in order to follow the path that God has called them too, they may still be jealous of old friends as well as new that may be living a life that is completly self involved. Even though they arn't serving God or others they seem to be enjoying themselves fine. why does life seem better on the other side. I mean, why is it that people you were once so close to, could all of a sudden turn on you and instead of lift you up, they will continue to just pull you down: emotionally as well as spiritually. i know if christians didnt go through struggles than their faith cannot possibly grow as much. But why is it the closer one may get to God the farther they may feel from old friends, why are we now not close anymore. How come although they might be nice people that don't really do anything bad, they may just drift farther and farther away from us. Why must things change. Why is it so hard to cut off old ties. I know, i know…God has a purpose, that everything that goes on in our lives is for a purpose so that we may grow to become the Godly man or woman God has called us to be. I just wish things would be different. I wish that God would make things a little easier for His children. Because at times…I'm tempted to just stop and do my own thing. But "to whom much is given, much is expected". So since I was blessed to recieve so much from God, I will continue to do His will. God has something great in store for me, and that will keep me driving towards Him at all cost…however hard it may be to let go of things.

2 Corinthians 6:14
[ Do Not Be Yoked With Unbelievers ] Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
No one said it was going to be easy, But God did say that if they did it to him, how much more will they do to you. You continue to pursue God and he will comfort you. God Bless you
